O

usmane Sylla was born in Guinea West Africa and has been dancing contemporary African dance since the age of 7.  Ousmane began dancing with his neighborhood friends in Conakry the capital of Guinea since 1980.  After many years of dance experiences, Ousmane and his dance companions created a small group named “Les Inguidants” for performances, shows and parties like: show on the street, school shows, clubbing performances, wedding reception parties, artist’s new release song shows and also helping big businesses advertise and sell their products which led Ousmane to join a second group of dance known as “Weigue Musica” the best dancers around Conakry 1-2 and 3.

A part from contemporary African dance, Ousmane helped his uncle, Youssouf Koumbassa, an artist carrier of culture and traditional dance and drum with his camp tours in Guinea for many years.  Ousmane combined his knowledge of traditional and contemporary African dance and gave birth to “Samato Dance”, (dance so beautiful words cannot describe).

Samato African Dance is open to all levels and is taught to recorded African music.  His moves are unique and his dance explodes with grace and fluidity.  This class will definitely improve your moves and presence on any dance floor.
